VAT Registration

Dear Client,

I wanted to let you know about a small administrative change to Karen Ellis Consulting Ltd.

From 1 October 2026, Karen Ellis Consulting Ltd will be VAT registered and, as a result, VAT at the prevailing rate will need to be added to our services and subscriptions from that date.

Importantly, my underlying subscription and consultancy rates are not increasing – the only change is the addition of VAT.

For clients who are VAT registered, there should be no overall change to the cost of using my services, as VAT can normally be reclaimed through your VAT return, subject to the usual VAT rules.

From 1 October, the following will therefore apply:

• £400 monthly subscription – £400 + VAT = £480
• £1,000 monthly subscription – £1,000 + VAT = £1,200
• £2,000 monthly subscription – £2,000 + VAT = £2,400
• APEX / Control Room Training – £750 + VAT = £900, plus agreed travel expenses

I completely appreciate that some of my clients are not VAT registered and, for those businesses, this will mean a small increase in the amount paid each month. I have deliberately kept my core subscription prices unchanged and hope this helps minimise the impact.

I genuinely value the businesses I work with and the long-term relationships we have built, and I remain committed to providing the same level of practical, hands-on support across consultancy, APEX, control room operations, training and business development.

During September, I will send a new Direct Debit link to clients whose subscriptions are collected by Direct Debit. Please accept the new mandate so that the correct VAT-inclusive subscription can be collected from October.

Updated pricing and VAT information will also be added to the Karen Ellis Consulting Ltd website.
